Who are we?

We are a business-to-business travel technology company that compiles points of interest data based on crowd-ratings and popularity for travel, hotel and leisure companies to present to their users and customers.  For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 and EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (EU GDPR), the data controller is Fiz Limited with registration number 7732631.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our website – for example, when you contact us about products and services, request a demonstration of our technology, voluntarily use our interactive features, or subscribe to receive our content.

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect will depend on what you provide. Typically this might include your name, professional title and email address, and your business address if you become a customer. If you correspond with us via email or a contact form we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also retrieve your IP address, location and information regarding what pages you access and when. If you purchase a subscription plan from us electronically your card information is not held by but is collected by our third party payment processor who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

What is your IP address collected for?

We may collect information about your computer or mobile device (as applicable), including, where available, the IP address used to connect your computer to the internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform as well as certain information about your visit, including the full uniform resource locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

This information may be used by us for system administration or used to report anonymised aggregate information to our partners or otherwise in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, this is only statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and it will not personally identify you or any other individual.

Use of ‘cookies’

We will use this information:

How do we store and secure your personal data?

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to use or access certain parts of, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.


In what circumstances will we disclose your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

Your data is yours to control and we will always seek to operate in total transparency and by consent.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes.
